ALERT LEVEL 2 UPDATE

As Taranaki has moved into Alert Level 2, this means we can welcome everyone back into the Terminal once again.

The Terminal will be open for anyone, not just individuals travelling. Please follow the guidelines of each individual business when inside the terminal, such as the eateries, retail shops, and regional lounge.
🔹 We please ask that all visitors entering the terminal sign-in using the QR code app or the sign-in register.
🔹 All visitors to the Terminal are required to wear a mask unless you have a medical condition that exempts you. Masks can be removed to eat and drink.
Information on face coverings at Alert Level 2
🔹 Please maintain 1m social distancing when in the Terminal.

Will New Plymouth Airport be open at Alert Level 2?

Yes, we are open and welcoming all visitors into the terminal building.

All eateries, retail outlets, and the regional lounge will be open.  Please note they will have specific guidelines that they will require you to follow.

Terminal amenities
During Alert Level 2 all terminal amenities and business will be operational.

If you require assistance please let the Airport Operations or Air New Zealand staff know ahead of time so we can have a trolley or wheelchair available for you.

We will have touch-free hand sanitiser available throughout the terminal. 
There is a free water bottle filling station that is also touch-free for passengers to use.

Cleaning
All appropriate health and safety guidelines are being followed to ensure the terminal is clean for all passengers.
